I am a full time artist based in Howick in the lush Kwa Zulu Natal Midlands of South Africa. I have always been a close observer of the outdoors and every bit of spare time I had as a child was spent in the hills or along the rivers of the family farm in Zimbabwe. With my art I aim to capture those moments which represent the essence of the African outdoor experience and pencil as my preferred medium, allows me to express the tones, contrasts and textures of my subjects. Nature has always been my source of inspiration and I will continue to do what I can to preserve it, both in my personal daily activities and through supporting worthy conservation causes through my art
