Born in Zimbabwe in December 1986, Tich grew up in a rural area, far west of the city of Bulawayo in Tsholotsho. He started drawing as a boy and enjoyed the challenges involved in typical African rural life as cattle herder. It served as inspiration for his interest in art which began when drawing cattle and wildlife like greater kudus, he encountered when cattle herding in the bush. He pursued art as a career mentored by Sanele Dhlomo & the late Jimmy James Nkomo at Victoria Falls Art Corner in Landela Complex (November 2002 – 2019) soon after high school & has sold art both locally and internationally. Many of his works have been collected by art enthusiastic tourist. Inspired by nature and Victoria Falls’ rich, world-class natural beauty. Tich currently works from a small tented home/studio & you can find his works on social as well at the gallery @Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, Zimbabwe
