Kati Graue

As an award winning artist working from my home studio in Cape town, South Africa, I work in Realism as my medium, interpreting natural moments to evoke an emotional connection to the viewer. I render with pencils on paper, and I play with watercolour. My innate talent, attributable to my dad, taught me focus, patience and visualizing - the foundation of my work today. The plight of endangered animal species inspires me to help bring to the forefront awareness to animal conservation protecting them and their natural habitats to preserve natural ecosystems. I help by donating complete works of art for fundraising or a portion of the proceeds of artwork sold to rescue and rehabilitation groups who selflessly commit to the rescue, rehabilitation and release of these magnificent animal species back into their natural environment. This is my legacy. No matter how small the contributions, we must know that these are the things that matter. To sustain life, all living things must live in harmony for the sake of our home…earth.
