I am a wildlife artist from the Netherlands. From an early age I create art and I graduated from the academy of arts in Rotterdam. I work mostly with oil paint on canvas and also with pastel on pastelpaper. I also teach art in my studio at home several evenings a week. My style is realistic and wildlife and landscapes/ nature are my favourite subjects. I think it’s very important to raise awareness for the delicate situation of the endangered species and their natural habitats. I loved working on this oil painting of a wild dog and I hope I can contribute to protect wildlife this way.
