Ben Waddams is a British Wildlife artist, living and working in the English countryside. Although his main subjects are to be found amongst the flora and fauna around him, his passion is for the birds and large mammals of Africa. Ben has spent many weeks in over 10 different African countries throughout his life and has also made a solo backpacking trip up through the centre of the continent to explore its more remote people and wildlife. His paintings hang in collections across Europe, North America and indeed, Africa. In his spare time, Ben writes about natural history for his local papers and explores the countryside around him with his family.
